About The Project
The MARIA Project is an implementation research initiative led by EMPHNET, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and local partners. It aims to improve maternal health outcomes in Jordan by integrating family planning and mental health interventions into postnatal care, especially for underserved, migrant, and refugee populations.

Background
Description of the gaps in FP and MH postnatal care In Jordan, postpartum women—especially those from vulnerable communities—often face unmet needs in family planning and mental health care. MARIA was developed to respond to this gap through a community-informed, data-driven, and systems-oriented approach.
